Speaker Bio
Sarah Barrington is a PhD Student specializing in Information & Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. She is part of Professor Hany Farid’s internationally-recognized digital forensics lab, and holds multiple cybersecurity scholar and fellow positions across campus. Her work has been featured at the 2023 Nobel Prize Summit, recognized by the United Nations, and published in Nature Scientific Reports. She holds 2 master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge and Berkeley. Prior to Berkeley, Sarah was an Engineer and Data Scientist at McLaren Formula 1, founded two start-ups, and won the 2021-22 Fulbright Award to represent the UK as a postgraduate scholar.
